Usenapp stuck and I can't shift it.

Usenapp is operating very oddly. Normally when Start up Usenapp I am presented with a list of subscribed Newsgroups, all showing the unread content ready for. me to click on one and start reading.

Now however when I start up Usenapp I am presented with what appears to be a screen showing a search request, and one I can’t escape from. There is no way it will allow me to open up a NG, although it will allow me to search for new NG’s but not to subscribe to them.

I am totally struck and in need of help. Anyone, desperation has set in!

Hi Peter,

If you are sure that you are in the right section (news reader) and not in another one such as MegaSearch, then something has probably become corrupt and it is best to set Usenapp to the default defaults.

You can first backup the files and folders that you are going to delete, so that you can restore them later if necessary.
