Hello, I’m trying Usenapp (free license). I can’t do any post (only characters).

My server is nntp.aioe.org
port:119

identities : alien@home.com

After I try to post, in the queue I read “Post Error: Too many errors for your IP”
what’s the problem?

Hi,

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by ‘only characters’, but as far as I know this news server doesn’t support binaries.

The message you get comes directly from the news server.

Sorry for bad English. :-)

I meant “only text”. I tried to post an article with only text in a newsgroup (it.test) but Usenapp reported this: “Post Error: Too many errors for your IP”. Maybe there is any preferences I set wrong. Before I buy a license I would like be sure that Usenapp works on my Mac.

I can post in any newsgroup, but not in it.test either. The post is blocked by the news server. Probably because I don’t have an Italian ip address. Maybe this also applies to you.

What you can do is contact aioe.org and ask them for the reason.
