That part hasn't been changed in the last update.
Maybe the database got corrupted during the update?
What you could do is restore a backup of the databases or in case you do not have a backup, remove database files and resubscribe the newsgroups.
First quit Usenapp.
To restore a backup:
Completely restore the following folder, including its files and folders:
/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Usenapp
In case you do not have a backup to restore, do the following:
1) First copy the folder including its content to a safe location (just in case):
/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Usenapp
2) Then delete the following folder and its content:
/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Usenapp/articles/
3) In case you would like to keep the local 'Sent' and 'Imports' then copy to following folders back from the backup you created step 1:
/[safebackup]/Usenapp/articles/1 => /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Usenapp/articles/
/[safebackup]/Usenapp/articles/2 => /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Usenapp/articles/
That should be all.
