For the past few days Usenapp has been very slow for me -- taking a few seconds to show some posts (ones already downloaded) and much longer than that show a different group.
I took a gamble and did a search for caches in the ~/Library/Application Support/Usenapp folder.
Seems to be working fine now (takes a second or two to rebuild caches but I expected that).
