Show only new postings, not the whole thread

So far I'm impressed and enjoying Usenapp. It's been lovely to get back to Usenet, and I've found my way around most of the settings I need.

One thing however: even when I have 'hide read' messages ticked, if a new posting comes into a thread that's otherwise all been read, the whole thread is displayed again rather than just the new postings.

The new posts are in bold, but if there's a long list of read posts I find it a bit of a pain. Is there a way to only show the new posts and not the rest of the read thread?

You can change this behavior in the preferences.
