Incorrect unread count

Found a stray (1) on a newsgroup today, after reading all the messages:

Refresh doesn't help. There's no filtering.

Nothing in the log:

Restarting fixed it, but thought you might like to know in case there's some count-resync you can add at some other logical point(s) than a restart.

That happened to me an a few occasions too.
You still can jump to the "ghost"-post by pressing the "go to next unread post"-key though.
I thought that would be the hidden post under the scrollbar (see other bugreport). But seems to be unrelated.

Jaimie Restarting fixed it, but thought you might like to know in case there's some count-resync you can add at some other logical point(s) than a restart.

I will try to find out the reason why this happens every now and then.
I like the idea of adding an option to recalculate the unread count.

Option has been added to the context menu (right mouse button on a subscription) to resynchronise the counters.
