Over the last two updates, when alt-C is hit when a subscription name has focus, the focus moves to another subscription. The CLEAR item in the sub-menu when a subscription has focus brings up the delete yes/no dialog which works as expected. This is quite a bit less useful for throwing away a whole set of messages without looking at them as in avoiding discussions that have wandered way off topic Also, I have not yet tested this enough, but alt-C seems not to work when the message title pane has focus on one of the messages
I don't see this behavior at all. All keyboard shortcuts still work as expected. Maybe you have installed another app that affects the keyboard behavior?
What happens when you click "Clear Subscription" in the MainMenu->Subscriptions?
That brings up the yes/no dialog in the article list pane as though I had typed alt-C. I have not installed anything else recently. Updates since 14 Oct were Messenger, Xcode, Mactracker and Termius. Other apps which respond to alt-C continue to behave properly. I'll send you a screen capture video.

I have this behavior on my iMac too. When I responded to your message this morning, I tested it on my macbook with Big Sur, everything was fine. Now on my iMac it is not.
I'll fix this later on today.
