This issue still happens

Some weeks ago I reported an issue that sometimes occurred when the new-articles timer went off, and I was reading a thread thus:

What would happen, and still happens but not always, is that the articles I was working through would all be marked as read and hidden, with any new articles being listed in the article column. This is annoying as I have to click on the Unhide button, find the thread, and work through it again to be sure I've read everything.

Has anyone else seen this?

As I wrote last time, it cannot be that this happens due to an error within Usenapp. You probably accidentally click on the button "All as read".

If you click on this button, a popup will appear asking if you are sure. But you probably suppressed this popup by clicking "Don't show again". I advise you to make the popup visible again by resetting it to the default in the preferences.

Right - and this is STILL happening. It happened just now. And no, I didn't click "all as read". At the moment, when I do that, I get the request for confirmation panel.
