Prefs shows two header items in 'selected' blue

I went into Prefs, and it was in the Post page, but Servers is also blue-outlined as if selected. Confusing.

The interface behaves strangely under Big Sur Beta 6.
Let's wait and see if that's a bug in Big Sur or if they have permanently changed the behavior of these components.

Hmm. It may be intentional. If I press tab, it cycles through the different panel icons, while leaving my current one visible in the lighter blue. Pressing space switches 'page'.
Although I'm always up for more keyboard access, this particular one is poorly visualised, Apple.

Does it all work properly when you use the mouse? I have no problems at all and everything looks good. Even under Big Sur beta 8.

Yes, works fine with the mouse. It's only a visual effect of the first icon having another highlight around it.

Still doing the same in Big Sur beta 9 btw. You can see it in Apple apps, except they start without the first item highlighted. Mail, open Prefs, press tab a few times and a selector box will show up. Press space and it'll press that.

Huh. Now I open the Mail Prefs again, the same item is still highlighted, and I'm not on that panel. That seems kinda pointless and buggy.

Still happens in the probably-final beta, so looks like this is The Way UIs Work Now. Hey ho. One to add to the FAQ that no-one will read before bugging you for support 🙂
