The subject should be "Zażółć gęślą jaźń", but instead it's encoded as =?UTF-8?B?WmHFvMOzxYLEhyBnxJnFm2zEhSBqYcW6xYQ=?= (looks like Base64?). According to RFC3977 the headers should be in UTF8 anyway, so why do the additional encoding at all?

After careful re-reading the RFC, I must admit I was mistaken - while UTF-8 is now the default encoding of the protocol, the RFC advises against using UTF-8 in header values, instead recommending MIME. Sorry for confusion.
