Leading spaces removed

If I have a post where I use indention (via leading spaces) those spaces are removed when I post.

I often use this format:

Here is my text.

Some name:

This is the text I am quoting.

The stripping of leading spaces pushes that all to the left.

Can you send me the message-ID of such a message, so I can find out what is going wrong.

Looking more -- in the source the leading spaces are still there... but they do not show when viewed.

And the source is not easy to view... only way I found to do it was to save the post and open in a text editor. Surely there is a more direct way and I am missing it.

I would also like to request a "View post raw" button as Snit just mentioned 🙂 A [R]aw or [ S]ource button next to the [H]eaders button would be lovely. I may already have asked for that actually, I can't remember.

I know Andre has said the editor needs work, the odd behaviour around typeover of a selection and delete/backspacing of quote lines needs fixing up.

I'm going to completely rewrite the editor, but that is quite some work and I'll will do that after the official release.

In the main time, you can remove these quoted lines with ALT+BACKSPACE.
Or incase you have a full size keyboard with numeric part, the DELETE key also works.
