Bug: Usenapp marks all as read - by itself

There I was in the middle of reading a thread which had a dozen or so posts. The timer kicked off, with one new post arriving. But Usenap marked all the remaining listed posts as read and then gave me the new post - as the only post available to read.

What it should have done was append the new incoming post(s) to those already there in the window.

Other than the rules, there is no function that will automatically mark the messages as read.
Could one of your rules caused this?

But presumably, in order to arrive marked unread in the Article Content window, posts have to have already been filtered by all my rules. Is this not the case?

That is true.

The only functions that mark the articles as read is the apply button in the Rules Editor, some other buttons and the items in the context menu. None of these functions are called automatically, only after clicked.

.. but maybe I overlooked something and will go through the source again.

I can't find anything that could have caused this.
Perhaps you accidentally clicked the "All as Read" button in the subscriptions panel.

I suppose that's possible. I don't think I've seen the issue since.
