From a chat in uk.comp.system.mac, would it be reasonable to ask for a font size zoom by keystrokes cmd-plus and minus, like web browsers? The current average usenet user is frankly getting on a bit and it's likely to be helpful to that aging eyeballs demographic.... which I've recently succumbed to myself.
Cmd-plus would up the size one notch and cmd-minus down, and cmd-zero to set it to whatever is set in preferences. Probably only needed for the article view window, I think? Not sure on that. Perhaps every second up or down could also push the 'main tables' size up or down one notch, or alt-cmd-plus/minus could.
