same sorting in all newsgroup?

Hi. I don't know if it is a bug or a feature:

When I select a newsgroup, I see the list of messages. Sorting these messages by clicking (for example) on the date-header-field works fine. My question: is it intended that choosing an other newsgroup, this list is sorted in the same order as the last selected group?
As a software developer, I would say: it a feature :-) (no further work for saving the sort-column and direction for each newsgroup)

But maybe other users have other opinions.

That is the way all Finder Windows on the Mac are sorted I would prefer that the sorting only applied to the newsgroup that I chose the different sort on.

That is the default for tableviews on the Mac.
I can make something that will store the settings per subscription, but only if it is a feature wanted by most people.

It is the standard MacOS behaviour.

In which MacOS version? I work with HighSierra. If I open a Finder window and sort this window by ascending date, and then open a folder from the file-list in the same window, this file list is NOT necessarily sorted in the same way (ascending date). If this folder is previously sorted by size, this sorting will also be available the next time I open this folder.
Do I get something wrong?

Correct.
Finder stores the last used sorting values and other data in a file called ".DS_Store" which can be found in ANY folder on your Mac.
