Download To Folder

I am not sure how the Download to Folders is supposed to work, I have been using it, however, the articles downloaded still end up in the default download folder and not the selected folder. For example, I chose my Ebooks Folder from the dialogue box yet the epubs ended up in my Usenaapp Finished Folder. The did end up with the article header as a folder name in the Usenapp Finished Folder and the actual epub in a subfolder. Is that what is supposed to happen?

I don't know if this will answer your question but for me with Catalina, under Usenapp Preferences -> Download -> Folders, I have the Download folder setup as follows: /Applications/Usenapp/Usenapp Downloads, and then Move extracted files to folder: /Users/Usenapp Downloads.

Otto, I have it setup the same way. My question may be moot as that option seems to have been removed when SuperSearch was removed. However, I have the exact same issue when I right-click and choose Download As.

Hmmm, I just Saved As (control-click) a short discussion and was asked where to save it so I saved it to the /Applications/Usenapp Downloads folder and there it was. I never used SuperSearch so I don't know how that worked. I just downloaded a zip file (control-click) and used Download File As and was able to select a folder.

"Download File As..." will save the files to any folder or drive that you choose here.
Unless you have enabled "Preferences->Download->Folders->Move extracted files to folder".
In that case the files are still moved to folder you've configured there.

Is that the case?

v0.76 does no longer use the "Move extracted files to folder" when you've chosen to download a file using "Download File As...".

It's the forum software. You probably were logged out or your cookie has been expired.
If you've kept the page open for a long time then you will automatically logged out or your cookie expires.

In such case you better can do a page refresh (CMD-R) and login again if required.

BTW. I'm working on a solution to bring back SuperSearch.

I tested this again and it works like a charm using the 'download as' so thanks.
I don't have any NZB Sites as I have always used Binsearch and then created the NZB with that. NZB Searches don't work well for single item searches.
