Auto-download bodies

0.72.3, I just noticed the auto-download bodies flag got reset to off on all my subs at some point recently, and I had to go back and tick the box on them all. Not sure when, sorry! Maybe over a week ago, as I've been noticing some lagging on seeing article bodies and was going to raise that as a bug until I looked into it and found the setting.

I'm not sure a "get latest" goes back and gets all the old unread post bodies as well as the new ones? Seem to be getting some download lag on entering an unread post from before I ticked the box - up to a second - and a flicker of a message in the status bar.
Selecting all headers in a sub and "download" seems to redownload all of them? I just watched the status bar roll all the way through "Downloading xxxx/2904" instead of just getting the missing ones. It still only took fifteen seconds but seems suboptimal... 😀

In the earlier releases the button "Apply default settings" also changed the "auto download" setting.
Perhaps you clicked that button in the past.
The newest releases don't touch the "auto download" setting after clicking the "Apply default settings" button.

"Get latest" only fetch the newest headers since the last "fetch".

Correct. I know it is a bit inefficient, but I've chosen for this scenario to make sure (especially for the archiving function) that all bodies truly exist on the local drive. Complete and well.
