I noticed that with the recent update that all of the articles are in bold text. Is that to indicate articles that haven't been read from ones that have been read? The groups seem to jump out at you once you open them. Have I missed something?
Showing new articles in bold has always been there, but was off by default. Now it is on by default. You can toggle this in the preferences. See image:
Auto expanding threads can also be turned on/off in the preferences. See image:
